On October 12, 2024, Grey and Pride celebrated a decade of dedication to the well-being and inclusion of older members of the tongzhi (LGBTQ+) community in Hong Kong. Held at the Maggie Room, Eaton Hotel, this milestone event gathered community members, allies, and supporters to reflect on our journey, honor our achievements, and envision a brighter, more inclusive future.

Since our founding, Grey and Pride has been the only registered charitable organization in Hong Kong specifically serving the needs of older tongzhi aged 60 and above. The theme of this anniversary celebration, "A Decade Together: Reflecting on the Past, Looking to the Future", underscored our commitment to building a supportive and empowered community for older tongzhi in Hong Kong.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees engaged in heartfelt conversations, participated in thoughtful discussions, and celebrated the progress made in older tongzhi. The event was a tribute to the resilience, solidarity, and determination of the older tongzhi community in Hong Kong, as well as a moment to recognize the collective efforts that have shaped Grey and Pride into the vital organization it is today.

As we reflect on the past, we also look to the future with hope and determination, continuing to promote inclusion, diversity, and a rainbow aging identity for all.
