"Suk Suk & Hehe": Generational Inclusion Project

The project aims to enhance generational inclusion within the tongzhi (LGBTQ+) community, particularly between older and younger members. The videos will allow both older and younger tongzhi to share their personal experiences of living as gay individuals in a predominantly heterosexual world. Additionally, the videos will enable younger tongzhi, who have engaged in dialogue with older tongzhi, to share their perspectives on the lives of these older individuals. As a result, we hope that by exploring the world of older tongzhi through their voices, our audience will be able to:

• Deconstruct prejudicial attitudes and stereotypes towards older tongzhi within the tongzhi community.

• Value older gay individuals and show them empathy, allowing them to live with dignity and without fear.

• Communicate effectively when interacting with older tongzhi.

• Continuously create an environment for the tongzhi community in Hong Kong that is fair and free from discrimination and harassment.
