During the press conference, several real-life inspirations for the film's characters made appearances. It turns out that some of the actors in [Suk Suk] are actually older tongzhi (LGBTQ+) individuals in real life, many of whom are members of Grey and Pride. This charity premiere was organized to raise funds for Grey and Pride, Hong Kong's first non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for the elderly LGBTQ+ community, offering a safe and friendly space for older tongzhi. The main purpose of this charity premiere was to raise funds to support the organization's operations and maintain existing services, as well as to explore new opportunities for the welfare and rights of the older tongzhi community.

The lead actor Tai Bo won Best Actor at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in [Suk Suk] and Patra Au Ga-Man also won Best Supporting Actress.
